Housing of a telephone subscriber station comprising an upper (1) and a lower part (2). Attachment of both parts (1, 2), correctly positioned in relation to one another, is intended to be achieved by simple measures. For this purpose, one of the housing parts (1) has at least one tab (8), which points in the direction of the other housing part (2) and engages behind a wall (7) of the other housing part (2). Furthermore, one of the housing parts (1) has a lug (4) which interacts with a chamber-like receptacle (3) whose contours match those of this lug (4). Webs (5, 6) which overlap one another are provided on the upper and lower parts, at least in the vicinity of these guide elements (3, 4, 7, 8). Due to this design, detachment of the housing parts (1, 2), on the one hand, which are pivotably connected to one another on one edge only, is prevented in a vertical direction, and, on the other hand, automatic guidance of both parts in relation to one another is achieved. <IMAGE>
