A mat (5) for the magnetic therapy as well as applying the ion compensation treatment to the human body is appropriate to practicing the therapy when the body is wet. The mat (5) enables the user to apply magnets (1, 2) on certain areas of the body; the user is free as to the therapy he wants to apply and as to the spatial disposition of the magnetic fields to be arranged. Furthermore, it is possible to simultaneously combine the application of the magnetic fields with a massage bath and/or an air and water jet bath.
