The arrangement serves to monitor the hydraulic working pressure of a consumer and has a pressure-control valve which lies in a feed line from a hydraulic unit to the consumer and with which the respective working pressure can be set. Arranged in the feed line is an operating device which is provided with an operating piston and interacts with an operating member. Attached to the operating device is a control device which is connected with one of its connections via a control line to the feed line and is connected with its other connection via a feed line to a return line which leads from the consumer to the hydraulic unit. If the hydraulic pressure falls below a predetermined value, the control device displaces the operating piston to trigger an operating signal. Since the control device is attached with both connections to the feed and return line from the hydraulic unit to the consumer, there is a direct connection to the hydraulic feed line, so that a pressure drop can be taken directly from the feed line. The design of the pressure-control valve for the operability of the arrangement is of no importance here.
