A remote-heating line, which consists of a protective pipe and pipelines located inside it, can be installed over large pipe lengths without major cost since simple pushing or pulling into the already laid protective pipe is possible via cylindrical rollers which are arranged and guided at a distance. There is no need to pass through the protective pipe during the work when the pipeline is being inserted. In the case of relatively small pipelines and, in particular, remote-heating lines which are arranged above ground and are generally laid in steel pipes, spacers are provided in the shape of a star around the pipeline, of which in each case the two lower obliquely positioned spacers are provided with large wheels. In this way, the pipeline can be inserted into the protective pipe without disturbance, to be precise over several 100 metres, without special measures being necessary. <IMAGE>
