PURPOSE:To reduce the load on a driver in radio operation by selecting another channel automatically when the reception sensitivity of a radio decreases. CONSTITUTION:When the radio is powered on with a switch, the reception signal of a channel set to an electronic tuner 1 at this time is sent to a reception sensitivity detecting means 2. The detecting means 2 maintains the current state when the reception signal is larger than a set value, but generates a sensitivity decrease signal when the receive signal decreases below the set value. When the sensitivity decrease signal is generated, a channel selecting means 3 sends a channel selection signal to a tuner preset matrix 4 to select a broadcasting station other than the broadcasting station being received by the tuner 1. Further, a cassette key matrix 5 allows a cassette deck 6 to operate when receive signals of all broadcasting stations are below the set value. |
