PURPOSE:To integrate a fluorescent lamp circuit with a DC stabilized power source in a simple circuit configuration by providing DC/AC load in an energy converting oscillation transformer. CONSTITUTION:A commercial power source is rectified to be converted into a DC voltage 1 to turn a switching transistor 5 ON or OFF in response to the output voltage. A boosting winding N4 and filament preheating windings 16, 17 for firing a fluorescent lamp 13 are provided in an oscillating transformer 15. When the transistor 5 is OFF, the accumulated energy of the exciting current of the transformer 15 is discharged through a discharging circuit of the winding N4, a capacitor 18 and the lamp 13. Accordingly, the collector and emitter voltage of the transistor 5 vibrates. The voltage induced in the winding N4 of the transformer 15 is rectified and smoothed to obtain a DC stabilized voltage. |
