PURPOSE:To increase total pressure in a gaseous body to be discharged out of a discharge port of a blower, by installing a guide plate which puts part of the gaseous body pressurized by an impeller back to a suction port. CONSTITUTION:A guide plate 5 is attached to a side plate 4b at the suction port side of a casing 4, while a suction port 4c of the casing 4 leaves its luniform opening part behind and gets closed by the guide plate 5. The form of the guide plate 5 is almost flush with the side plate 4b of the casing 4 at the vicinity of a gas leading-in part 5a but at the opposite side, bent toward the suction side of an impeller 1 so that it guides a gaseous body to be led from the gas leading-in part 5a into the suction side of the impeller 1. Therefore, total pressure in the discharged gas become increased, thus static pressure being resistible enough to firing pressure is securable.
