PURPOSE:To hold the function of a storage pump as an engine is cooled through a simple structure, by incorporating the water jackets of the engine of an engine-driven general purpose storage pump in the circulation system of the pump. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 2 and a cylinder head 3 have water jackets 5 and 6, respectively, being open to one side, which are communicated with water jackets 7 and 8 positioned on the opposite side. An engine housing 9 is connected to a pump casing 11, and is communicated with a pump discharge chamber 12. A volume pump casing 17 is connected to an opening 14a of a suction chamber 14, and its discharge port 20 is open to the discharge chamber 12 and has a pump impeller 21 inside thereof. With the pump impeller 21 driven, water is sucked in the suction chamber 14 and is discharged through the discharge chamber 12. In which case, a part of water pumped up from the discharge chamber 12 is circulated as cooling water for the engine through the water jackets 5-8. |
