Process for the ultimate storage of a high-activity fission product solution

In this process for storage of an aqueous solution of radioactive nuclides, the solution is diluted with formation water which is obtained from a reservoir situated under the seabed in a porous geological formation. After the dilution, the diluted solution is injected into the same geological formation situated below the seabed.
