A front light exit face (19) of a housing (1) is surrounded by a circumferential groove (36) which is open outwards away from the housing (1) in the light exit direction (11) and accommodates a circumferential rim (37) of a transparent pane (20) which seals the light exit face (19). The circumferential groove (36) has an internal flank (35) which is formed by a rim (33) plugged into the housing (1), and an external flank (24) which is formed by a section, adjacent to the light exit face (19), of the internal face (26) of the housing (1). This section is offset outwards with respect to the neighbouring sections of the internal face (26) and connected to them by a stepped annular face (23) which forms a stop limitting the penetration of the rim (33) into the housing (1). The circumferential rim (37) of the pane (20) is embedded in the circumferential groove (36) of the housing (1) by means of a cord (38) which connects the pane (20) and the housing (1) to one another and provides a seal between them and also firmly joins the inserted rim (33) to the housing (1) and the pane (20).
