PURPOSE:To determine appropriate conditions for curing by placing an article having a coated curable film of various paints, adhesives, etc. in a hermetic vessel, introducing inert carrier gas therein, and sucking the gas in the vessel to capture the volatile component of the solvent, etc. in the gas in a capturing agent then desorbing the same and determining said component. CONSTITUTION:A coil 3 on which, for example, insulating varnish is coated and dried is put into a hermetic vessel 4 and carrier gas is introduced from an inert gas vessel 1 into said vessel to capture the solvent, etc. evaporated gradually from the cured varnish in the vessel 4 on the capturing agent packed in a capturing chamber 6 in order to determine the condition for curing the coated curable film of an article having the coated curable film of paints, adhesive, etc., particularly the insulating varnish to be used in a hermetic system of positive and negative pressure devices. After the carrier gas from the chamber 4 is sucked and captured for a specified time, the chamber 6 is heated to desorb the volatile component and said component is determined by using a gas chromatography, etc. The adequate condition for curing is thus determined from the amt. of the volatile component. |
