An outside cabinet for terraces, balconies and the like has side walls, a rear wall, a bottom, a top and possibly a covering panel as well as a door at the front with at least one wing. The wing of the door is fixed to the assigned side wall by hinges and, forming a door edge, leaves a vertically extending gap free towards the side wall. The gap is sealed by a sealing device. The sealing device is designed as an edge protection tube which is open on one longitudinal side by a receiving gap and on both sides has attachment devices and sealing elements in the region of the receiving gap. The edge protection tube is fitted with the receiving gap onto the door edge, bridging the gap, connected by the sealing elements to the side wall and to the outside of the door wing and attached by the attachment devices to the outside of the side wall and the door wing. <IMAGE>
