The moistening aid for patient not allowed to or incapable of drinking. It consists of a moisture absorbing plastic element which is shaped to fit against part of the palate and secured to the jaw bone or teeth. This element is connected to a normal drip infusion unit, breathing through the open mouth automatically providing the humidity required.
