PURPOSE:To enable to supply a sheet by a simple construction, by a method wherein a separating roller is moved in the direction for separating it from a sheet or in the direction for bringing it into contact with the sheet by a rotation-transmitting loop form belt correspondingly to the forward rotation or the reverse rotation of a platen. CONSTITUTION:The shaft of an operating rotary body A coaxial with the separating roller and rotated as one body with the roller is supported by a movable lever B, and the loop form belt G is fitted to a driving pulley F so provided that it can be rotated concurrently with the rotation of the body A, guide pulleys C, D and the platen E. When the platen E is forwardly rotated in the direction of a solid-line arrow, the belt G is moved in the direction of a solid-line arrow to separate the body A and the separating roller from the sheet H. On the other hand, when the platen is rotated reversely, the body A and the separating roller are brought into contact with the sheet H, thereby enabling to supply the sheet. Accordingly, the sheet can be supplied by transmitting a rotating force of the platen to the separating roller by a simple construction. |
