<p>PURPOSE:To detect a target position and a speed by adding a simple detecting circuit part which detects the traveling time of a radar video signal toward plural gate signals and converting the result into a target speed. CONSTITUTION:A radar device is provided additionally with a gate signal generating circuit part 14, target movement detecting circuit part 16, warning circuit part 18,control circuit part 19, etc. This circuit 14 generates three gate signals including a signal corresponding to a target at different range on the basis of an azimuth signal 12 synchronizing with the rotation of a radar antenna, trigger signal for synchronization from a trigger signal generation part 4, etc. Then, when a center gate is controlled to coincide with the target by the target position signal 13 from a target position measuring circuit part 6, this coincidence is detected by the circuit part 16 to which a digital video signal passed through an A/D converter 10 is inputted, generating a warning, etc. The traveling time of the video signal to an adjacent gate signal is converted into a speed from this point of time, and the target speed is also detected by adding the simple, small- sized detecting circuit part.</p> |
