Viscometer with cleaning device

The device comprises a modified Ubbelohde viscometer made up of a capillary tube (4), a filling tube (2), an equalisation tube (10) and a cleaning tube (1). This makes an automatable measurement of viscosity possible. The filling and movement of the measuring and cleaning liquids and the cleaning and drying of the apparatus are brought about by gas flows; no valve has liquids flowing through it. <IMAGE>
