1. A plug for low-voltage installations, more particularly telecommunications, preferably for telephone facilities the plug comprising a casing part (1) and, mounted therein, a plug part (2), the same having a bearing block (5) which is disposed in the casing, the plug part (1) having a contact strip (4) which extends out of the casing, contact elements (10) which are produced from a sheet metal stamping being mounted in the block (5) and comprising a male contact web (9) near the strip (4) and a contact tongue (11) positioned near the block (5), the core block (19) being formed in one plane with adjacent apertures (21) in which cores (29) of a flat tinsel line (26) which extends into the casing engage, the core block (19) being formed perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the apertures (21) with a slot (22) which extends to the outside and through which the tongue (11) of the contact element (10) extends, the cutting edges (14) of such tongue extending contactingly through the cores (29), means (38, 41), being provided to relieve the tinsel line (26) of mechanical strain, characterized in that the contact elements (10) are secured and located in the block (5) and the core contact tongues (11), disposed vertically, extend beyond the surface of the block (5) and through longitudinal slots (22) in the block (19) into apertures (21) disposed perpendicularly to the slots (22) in the block (19) which is a part of the casing part (1). |
