<p>PURPOSE:To improve the fuel consumption factor at the starting of a vehicle under maintaining of the vehicle driving characteristics by a method wherein a control device of an electromagnetic clutch is provided with an engine requiring load detecting means, an increasing factor changing means and an exciting electric current controlling means. CONSTITUTION:A control device of an electromagnetic clutch (b) is provided with an engine requiring load detecting means (f), an increasing factor changing means (g) of an exciting electric current, an exciting electric current controlling means (h). Thereby, the desirable driving characteristics can be obtained at the engagement of the electromagnetic clutch (b) in a vehicle starting time and the like, that is, when the load required for the engine (a) is large and the amount of an accelerating operation is large, the exciting electric current is increased under the small increasing factor with the increasing of the rotational speed (d) of the engine (a). Meanwhile, when the load required for the engine is small and the amount of the accelerating operation is small, the exciting electric current is increased under the large increasing factor with the increasing of the rotational speed of the engine, accordingly, the decreasing of fuel consumption factor caused by the slipping of the electromagnetic clutch can be prevented.</p> |
