The automatic opening mechanism possesses, for closing the door, a driving cylinder (8) which actuates an upper latch (5) and a lower bolt (7) via linkages (4, 6). So that this door lock can also be opened by remote control, there is a release cylinder (10) which is located on the door jamb (2) and the piston (11) of which acts on a tappet (13) connected to the linkage (4, 6) for unlocking the door. The release cylinder (10) works at the same time as a control slide for supplying pressure medium to the driving cylinder (8), in order to prevent the driving cylinder (8) from being actuated before the release of the opening mechanism.
