N-Phosphonylcarbonyl carbamates of formula I≮R1=R2=alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or their halogen derivs.; R3 = substituted Ph, naphthyl, benzodioxolanyl, dihydrobenzofuranyl indanyl or N:CR4R5 (R4=R5= cyano, dialkylcarbamoyl, dialkoxy-phosphonyl, triazolyl)! were prepd. by reacting the appropriate chlorocarbonylcarbamates with trialkyl phosphites. Thus, bischloro-carbonyl-methylamine of formula IV and hydroxy compds. of formula V were reacted with phosphites of formula III to give the title compds. The title compds. are used as insecticides.
