PURPOSE:To prevent the production of undried laver and overdried laver, by applying electric potential to the laver delivered successively from a laver drier thereby detecting the water-content of the laver, processing the data of the water-content by an operational circuit to calculate the dried state of the laver, and controlling the drying apparatus according to the determined dried state. CONSTITUTION:The screen supporting laver sheets is introduced successively into the laver drying apparatus, and the dried laver sheet is peeled from the screen delivered successively from the drying apparatus. The peeled laver sheet 9 is introduced one by one between the electrically conductive rollers 10 and 11, and electric potential is applied to both rollers 10 and 11. The electric current passing through the laver sheet 9 is amplified with the sensitivity switching circuit 12, transmitted through the sensitivity selection circuit 13, divided into the circuit 17 to detect undried state and the circuit 15 to detect overdried state. The signal is passed through the circuit 16 to detect and select the acceptable product and the circuit to count the number of the acceptable products, to energize the operational circuit 18 and light either the lamp 21 for undried state, the lamp 22 for acceptable product and the lamp 23 for over-dried state. The drying conditions, etc of the drying apparatus is controlled according to the sign of the lamps. |
