PURPOSE:To surely engage both ends of a compression coil spring with oppositely facing spring receivers, by holding the spring in a hollowly curved shape toward the advance direction by a pusher with a hollowed front face and guide slopes in the internal wall of a holder. CONSTITUTION:A holder 1 comprises a fixed jaw 2 and a movable jaw 3 which causes the action of opening and closing with relative movement to the jaw 2. A pusher 4 is slidably provided in the axial direction in a junction space between the jaws 2, 3, and a circular arc shaped cavity 5 is provided in a front face of the pusher 4. Guide slopes 10, 11 are formed on the internal wall of an outlet 9 of the holder 1. A spring 17, whose both ends are supported to the guide slopes 10, 11, is held in a curved shape toward the pusher 4 along the cavity 5. And then the holder 1 changes its direction approaching to spring receivers 18, 19. Here advancing the pusher 4, the spring 17 is slidden on the slopes 10, 11 and engaged with the spring receivers 18, 19. |
