PURPOSE:To enable the positioning of plural thin plate components in high accuracy and simply by aligning the sheet component forming a reference hole to the taper pin tip provided on an assembly device with holding it and then by dropping the sheet component. CONSTITUTION:The spacer 3 inserting the necessary taper pin 22 is set on the alignment base 21 of an assembly device 20. The work of the sheet member of a load arm 1 and gimbal 2, etc. is held with suction to a holding moving mechanism and moved to the upper part of the assembly device 20. The reference hole 4 formed on works 1, 2 is coincided with the tip part of the taper pin 22 by descending the holding movement mechanism slightly. The holding of the works 1, 2 is then released for the holding movement mechanism and the works 1, 2 are dropped toward the taper pin 22 by their dead weight. The dropped works 1, 2 are positioned relatively by inserting through the taper pin 22 to which respective reference hole 4 corresponds. |
