摘要 PURPOSE:To keep off a control time lag for a suspension in times of starting and quick acceleration, by adjusting a suspension characteristic to be hard when a fact that a driving range where the starting and the quick acceleration takes place, namely, the excessive output of an engine is in a large range is detected. CONSTITUTION:In time of starting, since a car is below a fixed car speed VO, each of step motors 8 of suspension systems 3 and 4 for front and rear wheels and a solenoid valve 11 are driven by a controller 12 in conformity with the output of a car speed sensor 13. With this constitution, interconnection between top and bottom oil chambers of each damper 6 in these suspension systems 3 and 4 is cut off and simultaneously space between an air chamber 7 and an accumulator 10 is also cut off whereby a suspension characteristic is made to come into a state of being hard. And, in time of normal running, even when a fact that both of engine load to be detected by a load sensor 14 and excessive output of an engine are in a large driving range in relation to the car speed is detected, these step motors 8 and solenoid valves 11 are driven as well, thus the suspension characteristic is made to come into a state of being hard.
