PURPOSE:To improve te adhesion of an adhesive on the surface of a material to be coated and to adhere uniformly the adhesive thereon by providing an agitating mechanism consisting of plural vane plates disposed to enclose the outside circumference of the material to be coated and a rotating body which fixes the same in an adhesive tank. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical rotating body 6 is supported and disposed freely rotatably on the outlet side of a coating head by means of an arm 6a. The body 6 is attached diagonally with vane plates 7 on the inside wall thereof by having an angle in the longitudinal direction and is rotated by the flow of the adhesive flowing in following up to the movement of a material P to be coated. As a result, said body provides the effect of mixing and agitation in the surrounding adhesive melt. The inclusion of air voids into the surface of the material P is effectively prevented by attaching a brush 8 in a part of the plates 7 or over the entire length thereof and rubbing and brushing the surface thereof according to the traveling of the material P.
