PREPARATION:The reaction of p-rosolic acid with a phosphorous acid ester selected from the group consisting of phosphite triesters and phosphite diesters such as an ester of formula II (R4, R5 are 1-18C alkyl, 2-18C alkenyl, aralkyl, aryl; R6 is H, 1-18C alkyl, 2-18C alkenyl, aralkyl, aryl) gives the objective compound.
