PURPOSE:To enable satisfactory painting without fogging, etc. with an extremely simple construction by using a freely extensible and contractable revolving shaft provided with universal joints at both ends in moving horizontally forward and backward and vertically a slider. CONSTITUTION:A revolving shaft 40 is connected via a universal joint 38 to one sprocket wheel 30 or a revolving shaft of a transmission member 41 for driving said wheel. The shaft 40 is connected at the other end via a universal joint 39 to a motor 37 and a speed reducer 46 and is made freely extensible and contractable. The shaft 40 is easily extended or contracted at varying distances and is allowed to change its angle by means of the joints 38, 39 in the stage of moving vertically a slider 22, i.e., horizontal rails 25, 26 and therefore the slider 22 is made horizontally movable forward and backward according to the operation of the wheel at the height corresponding to the surface to be painted.
