In the manufacture of mineral fibre panels laminated with a metal foil, the prior art uses an adhesive based on waterglass and on clay mineral substances. In order to improve the shelf life of the adhesive and allow its processing to be carried out under constant conditions, the invention uses an adhesive consisting of two components to be mixed at the time of use, one component containing 60-95 % by weight of waterglass and 4-16 % by weight of clay mineral substances and the second component containing a substance which reacts with the first component at room temperature, thereby causing the adhesive to harden. |
