CORRUGATING DEVICE OF METALLIC PIPE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of generating a twist in a metallic pipe during corrugating by forming an inlet support at the open port of a hollow stationary shaft connecting to a housing for supporting an eccentric ring and the outlet support at the open port of an outlet bracket in such a way that both supports can rotate freely. CONSTITUTION:An inlet support 5 is supported via a bearing 8 at the open end of a stationary shaft 3 which feeds a metallic pipe to a housing 1 for supporting an eccentric ring 2. An outlet support 6 is supported via a bearing 9 at the open port of an outlet bracket 7 for guiding the corrugated pipe. Then the supports 5, 6 can rotate freely and therefore the twist of the pipe during one turn of the ring 2 occuring in the difference between the diameter of the metallic pipe and the diameter of the supports 5, 6 is prevented by rotating the supports by pid2-pid1 (d1; the diameter of the metallic pipe, d2; the diameter of the supports 5, 6).
