A Transparent aromatic alkenyl resin composition is prepared from an aromatic alkenyl monomer by means of free-radical polymerization with the dissolved block copolymer(I) having an AB or AB(BA)n array, which A = block of polymerized alkenyl aromatic monomer, B = block of polymerized and conjugated diene, and n = integer of 1 - 5. The average mol. wt. of (I) is 40,000. (I) contains 20-70 wt.% of polymerized alkenyl aromatic monomer and 80-30 wt.% of polymerized and conjugated diene. Diene polymer is shaped as a rod or sphere with a diameter that is less than 70 nm.
