<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a purifier with high reliability by introducing the atmosphere into a pressue sensor so as to reduce the attached quantity of a pollutant to the pressue sensor during a time period when neither the upstream nor the downstream pressure of a filter is being detected. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas particulates discharged from an engine 1 are collected by a filter 3. A pressure sensor 9 detects the upstream and the downstream pressure of the filter 3, and when the pressure difference becomes a fixed value or more,a heat source 11 is operated to burn particulates collected by the filter 3. When neither the upstream nor the downstream pressure is being detected, transfer valves 4,5 ar closed, and the pure air flows in through an atmosphere guide port 5a, thereby the degree that pipelines 8, 18 are polluted by a pollutant in the gas can be remarkably reduced.</p> |
