PURPOSE:To reduce a noise radio wave at a specific AM band to the full, by setting an overall resistor lying between winding at the secondary side of an ignition coil and a rotor electrode of a distributor down to a more than 15KOMEGA. CONSTITUTION:A rotor electrode 6a is made up of resistance materials including a ferrite material or a conductive alumina ceramic material or the like. In the case where these resistance materials are set down to the rotor electrode, there is provided with a resistance value of 20KOMEGA or so. From the standpoint of test results, this value is desirable to be more than 15KOMEGA, while in consideration of equilibrium with energy to be fed to an ignition plug, it is also desirable to be set down to 30KOMEGA or less. In addition, since it is a concentrated resistance making the rotor electrode itself a resistor, a noise loop current comes to the shortest. With this constitution, when broad-casting is received at a feeble electric field of an AM radio at a 0.5-1.6MHz band or even when an antenna is installed on the window glass, a noise can be thoroughly eliminated. |
