PURPOSE:To obtain a reproducing still video having a high quality by setting a new track and executing the recording and reproducing, if a count value of a drop-out generation number in case of reproducing a still exceeds a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When a movable contact piece 93 of a changeover switch 9 is switched to a reproducing side contact piece 92, a still video is reproduced, but on the other hand, an output of a voltage amplifier 10 is provided to a drop-out sensor 12, too, and drop-out of a reproducing FM wave is detected. Also, a generation number of drop-out of the reproducing FM wave of every one rotation of a magnetic disk 1 is counted by a counter 13. When deterioration of a track 1a of the magentic disk 1 becomes remarkable and a drop-out number reaches a prescribed value, an output is generated, provided to a motor driving circuit 43, a head 2 is moved onto a recording track 1b, and recording and reproducing are executed. |
