PURPOSE:To obtain easily a shaped beam which has a small cross-polarized component and good efficiency by entering some of corrugate teeth of adjacent corrugate horns with each other and shortening center interval of the horns. CONSTITUTION:Grooves (recess) 32 of a corrugate horn 3c are entered into teeth (projection) 31 of a corrugate horn 3c, and grooves (recess) 32 of the corrugate horn 3b are entered into teeth (projection) 31 of the corrugate horn 3c respectively to reduce the interval between the corrugate horns 3b and 3c nearly to 2a+lambda/4. Then, corrugate horns 3b, 3c, and 3d are arranged as shown in a figure to shorten the center interval of the corrugate horns by >=lambda/4. Consequently, the level of cross polarization is suppressed low and a shaped beam having good efficiency is obtained easily. |
