摘要 PURPOSE:To disconnect the down circuit of a stand-by equipment and utilize frequencies effectively by transmitting telemetry information of the stand-by equipment which is obtained through an optical circuit to an earth station through the telemetry circuit of a main equipment. CONSTITUTION:The main equipment 1 is put in operation as an in-use equipment on a track, and light transmitted from the light transmitter 9 of the stand-by device 2 is received by a photodetector 8 and sent to the earth station 7 through the telemetry circuit. The stand-by equipment 2 varies in track and attitude owing to disturbance, but the range of the variation is forecasted, so the track and attitude are corrected while the beam width of a transmitter and receiver and variations of the main equipment 1 and stand-by equipment 2 are considered before the optical circuit deteriorates. The earth station 7 extracts telemetry bit streams of the main equipment 1 and stand-by equipment 2 through a down circuit 4, performs data processing to monitor the states of two satellites all the time, and disconnects the down circuit of the stand-by equipment 1 to utilize radio waves effectively.
