PURPOSE:To enable efficient utilization of an air curtain, by a method wherein an air curtain device capable of regulating an amount of the supplied according to the opening of a door is mounted to an opening and closing end part. CONSTITUTION:An air curtain supply openings 2 are mounted to the opening and closing end part (a forward end) of an automatic opening and closing door 1, and the supply openings are constructed to move together with the door. The feed of the air to the supply openings 2 is effected from a blower through a flexible duct 3 expandably attached to the interior of the box type rail on the upper part of the door. The blower and the automatic opening and closing door are operated in electrical linkage with each other, and when the door is fully closed, the feed of air is stopped, and when the door is slightly opened, the feed of air is started. The air supply opening is so formed that a slight amount of the air is blown out toward the interior of a room. Thus, when, during opening and closing of the door, the door is opened, the air curtain is actuated, and during actuation of the air curtain, the interior of the room is thermally isolated from the exterior of the room. Regulation of an amount of the air fed according to the opening of the door enables efficient utilization of the air curtain. |
