PURPOSE:To shorten first copying time and also to shorten the whole copying time by driving a timer automatically by a signal based upon the end of copying and executing the preprocessing of copying continuously to the end of the copying during the setting time of the timer. CONSTITUTION:When copying of the set number of copies has been completed in a step S6 after end of copying, a program goes to a step S7 and the timer 301 is set up. After ending the copying through steps S8, S9, the preprocessing of copying is executed without executing the stop of the copying operation. When the program goes to a step S10 through the step S9, the operation status of a copy switch 31 is detected and a cycle of S8 S9 S10 S8 is circulated. In said constitution, the copying time of the 2nd sheet or after is made equal to the copying time of the 2nd copy in the multicopying time, so that the first copying time can be shortened and the whole copying time can be also shortened. |
