<p>PURPOSE:To improve the conveying efficiency of goods by attaining a switch between a motor which gives an automatic steering operation to a steering/ driving wheel and a handle which is operated manually in a mounting state on the basis of the result of detection of a follow-up sensor which detects a guide line laid on the floor surface. CONSTITUTION:A follow-up sensor 12 consisting of a pair of pickup coils 12a and 12b which detects the lateral displacement degree of a tractor body to a tow bus wire 11 laid on the floor surface in the form of a right-left difference of voltage is attached to the front side of a tractor body frame. Based on the detection result of the sensor 12, a steering motor is controlled so that an equal level of induced voltage is obtained between coils 12a and 12b, that is, a steering/driving wheel 2 has a follow-up movement along the wire 11. Then an electromagnetic clutch is actuated to release the linkage between the steering motor and a steering frame. Thus the wheel 2 can be steered and driven freely by means of a handle 9.</p> |
