PURPOSE:To detect the phase differences of plural pictures with a comparatively simple constitution by finding the mininum value of the differences of respective conversion outputs while changing a light transmitting position on the luminous flux incident surface of plural photoelectric converters. CONSTITUTION:The images of a substance S are formed by image-forming lenses 5a and 5b on respective photoelectric converters 1a, 1b, which detect the light transmitted through the mask patterns of masks 2a, 2b changing by a driver circuit 3, and transmit the detected results to a phase detecting circuit 4. The circuit 4 measures the phase difference of two images. When the substance S is moved to a position S', the phase difference of two images is changed. The minimum value of the differences of photoelectrically converted outputs based upon the changing mask patterns is found to detect the phase difference of respective images. |
