PURPOSE:To reduce vibration and noise based on harmonic component contained in the primary current by providing shortcircuiting coils which cross a magnetic flux which passes poles of the primary side magnetic flux generator of a linear pulse motor at the poles. CONSTITUTION:The primary side magnetic flux generator 21 of a linear pulse motor is formed to include a core, a permanent magnet, and poles 29a, 29b, 30a, 30b having coils 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b and toothed parts 29a1, 29b1, 30a1, 30b1, and moved on the secondary side scale 34 having the toothed part 34a via wheels 23, 24. At this time, shortcircuiting coils 33a-33d which are wound in one or a plurality of turns on the respective poles 29a, 29b, 30a, 30b are provided, energy based on the harmonic components contained in the primary side current is consumed as heat by eddy current generation. Accordingly, the vibration and noise of the pulse motor can be largely reduced by simple means. |
