PURPOSE:To obtain a concrete barge suitable for towing and settling in distant and shallow sea areas by connecting an air supply and discharge tube to an air supplier having an air regulating function and serving to perform centralized control. CONSTITUTION:A barge is divided into plural cells 1 by providing an expandible square diaphragm 2 made of a synthetic rubber for partitioning airtightly the cell 1 into an closed upper air bag 3 and an opened lower space 4 at a position at which the inside of the cell 1 is horizontally divided into two sections. An air supply and discharge tube 5 opening in the air bag 3 is buried in the wall of the cell 1 and connected to an air supplier (not illustrated) having an air supply and discharge function and serving to perform centralized control. Since the barge has a low specific gravity and shallow draft and is free of intrusion of sea water, concrete barge suitable for towing and settling in distant and shallow sea areas can be obtained. |
