Pyrophosphato titanate adducts of formula I are new. In I c is 1 or 2; d is 0 , 1 or 2 ; e is 0, 1 or 2; sum, d+e is 1 or 2; if c is 1, x must be R0; when c is 2, X is either R0 or a gp. with together with Ti forms a gp. (II); t, g,h and I are each 0 or 1; at least 1 or g, h and i is 1 and the sum of f,g,h and i is 2 or 3; each R is independently C1-10 alkyl, C3-10 alkenyl; R1R2R4R7, each R10 and each R11 are each H, C6-10 aryl; only one of R1 and R2 is H; R5,R6,R8 and R9 are each indepently as R1,R2,R4,R7, each R10 and each R11, except that R5,R6,R8 and R9 may not be H and R5 and R6 are each e.g. C1-10 alkanol. Adducts are used for improving the physical and chemical properties of resin.
