<p>Flameless reboiler for reconcentrating liq. desiccants, e.g. glycol, used for dehydrating natural gas has upper and lower enclosed reboiler drums with an enclosed heating section between them. Water-rich liq. desiccant is continuously recirculated between the drums through riser conduits in the heating section and external return conduits. An exhaust gas from a prime mover flows through the heating section to conventionally heat the liq. desiccant in the riser conduits to disengage the water vapours. The upper drum has outlets for disengaged water vapours and water-lean liq. desiccant. Avoids the user of an open flame which may lead to fire hazards.</p> |
