PURPOSE:To eliminate the change of viscosity of varnish, and to apply a film uniformly by mounting a varnish feeder supplying a rubber cylinder with varnish on the feeder side in said rubber cylinder while installing a drier in a paper- discharge carrier path. CONSTITUTION:Paper to which varnish 11 is applied between an impression cylinder 7 and a rubber cylinder 8 is re-bitten to a paper-discharge pawl in a paper-discharge chain 20 and transferred, varnish 11 is dried on a passage through a drier 22, and paper is released from the paper-discharge pawl at a carrier terminal section and dropped and loaded onto a paper stacking base. In a paper-sheet rotary varnish applicator 1, varnish 11 is hardly affected by heat because a varnish feeder 9 is disposed on the feeder side in the rubber cylinder 8 and the rubber cylinder 8 functions as a barrier against heat from the drier 22 for the varnish feeder 9. Accordingly, the viscosity of varnish 11 is not changed, and varnish can be applied uniformly. |
