PURPOSE:To obtain a compsn. for a sensor without deterioration with age by using a mixed material contg. oxide powder such as tin oxide, vanadium petaoxide and glass as a sensor material. CONSTITUTION:A heater pattern is printed on the rear of an alumina substrate 1 by using platinum paste. The printed pattern is dried and thereafter a lower electrode is printed on the front of the substrate 1 by using platinum paste. The paste is calcined to form a platinum heater 2 and a lower electrode 3. A prescribed amt. of SnO2, V2O5 and CaO-ZnO-PbO, TiO2-SiO2 glass are mixed as a sensor material and the mixture is printed on the electrode 3 and is calcined to form a compsn. layer 4 for the gas sensor. An upper electrode 5 is then formed thereon. |
