<p>PURPOSE:To always generate torque of the prescribed direction rotating from an output shaft by coupling a transmission mechanism which contains a unidirectional clutch between a rotor of the first motor which operates as the first generator and a rotor of the second motor which operates as the second generator. CONSTITUTION:A power device of an electric motor vehicle is formed of transmission mechanisms 10, 11 which contain the first and second motors 1, 6 which operates as the first and second generators and unidirectional clutch 15, 17 which are provided between the rotors 2 and 7 of the both motors 1, 6 and operate in reverse direction, and a battery 19. The 1, 6 are operated as motors at the accelerating time to rotate flywheels 9 and tires 5 through the clutch 15, and the 6 is operated as a generator at the high speed time of the flywheels 9 to transmit the reverse rotating direction of the rotor 7 through the clutch 17 to the rotor 2, thereby rotating the tires 5. Accordingly, the rotation of the prescribed direction is always transmitted to the tires 5 irrespective of the rotating direction of the flywheel 9 to select the various operation mode.</p> |
