A device for the continuous heading, tailing, washing, gutting and packing in cans consists of two parallel conveyors with central and side plates which take the fish to pairs of circulating blades for heading and tailing. The drive chains for the conveyors are made of non-rusting and resistant plastic material (nylon). A photocell detects the presence of fish for the gutting device with two suction valves to extract the guts. Water sprays wash the fish before empty cans slide on a chute and are pushed on a conveyor chain when pushers deposit the fish in one.
