The invention relates to a device allowing an unconscious casualty to be lifted from the operating table, to be transported and put on his bed, without exertion for the nurses and without risk of incorrect handling of the casualty. It consists of a trolley 1 of small dimensions supporting two endless-screw jacks 3 which are coupled and controlled by a crank 4 (or electric motor) which actuates the lifting arms 5 which hold a stretcher 6 made of moulded polyester.
