PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which guides a weaving welding torch to a normal position in weld line tracing of said torch by moving the torch toward the right or left so that the time from the time when the torch is at the weaving center till the time when the current is min. is made zero. CONSTITUTION:The wire 12 of a weaving torch 11 welds with the current of a welding power source 22. The current in a detecting part 25 enters a min. value detector 26 via a filter and amplifier. The signal for the time when the torch is at the weaving center and the time till the time when the current is min. from a position detector 21 are calculated in a time detecting logical part 27, and the right or left is discriminated by a discriminating part 28. A command is emitted from an instructing part 29 to a driving part 6 to guide the torch 11 to the normal position so as to make the time zero. The device makes detection without contact, permits simplification and reduction in size, is unaffected by environment and has reliability without malfunction. |
