PURPOSE:To use in common a pressure roller and an image carrying body, and to obtain a good transfer performance which causes no ''partial omission'' phenomenon by executing a development by using microcapsule toner having a pressure fixing property transferring a toner image on a transfer material, and simultaneously, fixing by pressure the toner image to the transfer material. CONSTITUTION:A latent image is formed on a drum-like image carrying body 1, and subsequently, developed by a developing device 5. As for a developer, a pressure fixing toner fixed by a low pressure is desirable, and a capsule toner is the best since the functions of a developing property and a fixing property are separated. Subsequently, a toner image formed on the image carrying body 1 is transferred to a transfer material 7 offered from a paper tray 6, and simultaneously, made to contact by pressing to the image carrying body 1 by a fixing roller 2, and fixed. As for one example of a state of pressure welding, by a compression spring 10 set to a projecting base 11a of a side plate 11 to which the carrying body 1 is attached pivotally, pressure is applied to a bearing case 9 guided by a guide member in the axial core direction of the carrying body 1 by the side plate 11 of the shaft end of the roller 2, and the fixing roller 2 is press welded to the carrying body 1. |
